Wedding Film Making Workshop - Cape Town - Johannesburg.

We are so excited to be hosting our very first wedding film making workshops in Cape Town on the 13th of July 2019 and Johannesburg on the 20th of July 2019.

This course is for all filmmakers beginner or pro, looking to learn something new. We will be discussing various aspects of the film making process, from pre-wedding planning as well as prepping and what gear we use.

We will be looking at the booking process and how we book on average 60 to 70 weddings a year. What our marketing strategy is and how we approach each wedding differently.

Not only will you learn the how we shoot weddings, we will give you all the tricks and tips for making your couples feel comfortable and how to get those emotional shots.

The course will be broken down into the following categories:

  2. Pre - Wedding Planning

  3. B-Roll and what to look for.

  4. Using a Drone and is it really that important?

  5. Shooting the wedding morning (setup, brides prep, groom prep and entourage setups)

  6. Shooting a Ceremony and audio. (Wedding Ceremony Setup and prep)

  7. The Couple Shoot

  8. Shooting the reception and audio.

  9. How to work with and around photographers.

  10. Highlights and Extended Video Cuts for your clients.

  11. How to Market yourself and reaching couples. (We will look at different advertising platforms that work for us and how it can work for you)

  13. Building your brand.

  14. Q & A

This is a full day course and we will stop and go as per the participation of the audience. We will answer any questions you might have and even help you with your own camera.

We will have a couple in wedding attire to do some basic poses and shooting practice.
